The Journey to the Funakoshi Cup 2027
In 2027, our JKA Campsie students will take on an exciting challenge as they compete alongside JKA students from across Australia for the opportunity to represent Australia at the Funakoshi Cup in Tokyo, Japan.
The journey begins with the Playoffs on 6 March 2027, where our students will compete for a place in the Top 4 and the opportunity to progress through the selection process.
Supporting Our Students
Preparing for an event of this level takes dedication, commitment and support.
Our students have been working hard in the dojo, and we want to support them every step of the way — from training and preparation through to competition day and, hopefully, the journey to Tokyo.
We invite the JKA Campsie community, families and friends to get behind our students and support them as they take on this challenge.
