Meet Our Qualified Sensei
At JKA Campsie, our instructors are committed to preserving and teaching the traditional Shotokan Karate developed by the Japan Karate Association (JKA).
Our instructors are JKA-qualified and continue their development through regular training, seminars, examinations and interaction with senior JKA instructors.
"Sensei" isn't simply equivalent to "black belt."
It is a Japanese term used for a teacher/instructor, and within a Karate dojo it reflects someone's role as a teacher as well as their experience.
